The goal of every Georgia pre-K classroom is to provide pre-K students with the learning experiences they need to prepare for kindergarten. Our pre-K program emphasizes active learning, consistent daily routines, and the use of positive behavioral management and assessment strategies.

Through engaging group-learning sessions that cover numbers, patterns, colors, and shapes and monitored play and center activity that encourages cooperation and positive social interactions, we help develop your children for their formative Kindergarten years. Contact us now for more information.

Educational childcare your kids will love

At Cherokee Academy at Clayton, our goal is to provide for a smooth transition from pre-K to kindergarten by developing your child’s ability to recognize numbers, patterns, colors, and words, while helping them to develop socially. When looking at the kindergarten transition, it is important to remember that it is a year-long process, not something that happens in April or May of the school year.

Our staff of dedicated, early childhood education instructors will keep you up-to-date in all areas of your child’s development, and we’re happy to modify our program or accommodate any special request. Your kids will love their days with us as they learn to cooperate with others, engage in group activities, and use their imagination during playtime and in a classroom setting.
